Du Quoin State Fair Prepares for Historic Racing Weekend: Silver Crown, ARCA, and Bill Oldani Memorial Headline Aug. 30-31

DU QUOIN, Ill. — The historic DuQuoin State Fairgrounds “Magic Mile” is set for a marquee weekend of racing on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31, with a pair of nationally recognized events headlining the action.
On Saturday, the USAC Silver Crown Series returns for the 71st running of the Ted Horn 100, one of the most prestigious races on the dirt-mile circuit. The card also features preliminary action for the 31st Annual Bill Oldani Memorial for UMP Modifieds.
Sunday’s program is highlighted by the ARCA Menards Series in the 72nd Annual Southern Illinois 100, a staple of Labor Day weekend in Du Quoin. The night will also include the $2,000-to-win Bill Oldani Memorial Feature for DIRTcar Modifieds.
