McRoberts Masters the Field for Feature Victory at Macon Speedway

MACON, Ill. — Deekan McRoberts of Dodge City, Kan., put together a determined drive from fifth starting position to claim the checkered flag in Saturday night’s feature at Macon Speedway.

McRoberts, wheeling the No. 12X, surged forward quickly and never looked back, securing the win in a competitive main event.

Polesitter Levi Ballard of Grimes, Iowa, slipped back one spot but still held on for second, while Kolette Dicero of Lizton, Ind., stayed steady from the third starting position to round out the podium.

Wyatt Moritz of Labadie, Mo., impressed with a charge from seventh to fourth, while Braxton Flatt of Monmouth, Ill., fell from the outside of the front row to finish fifth.

Further through the pack, several drivers delivered standout performances. Mackenzie Dowllar of Springfield, Ill., advanced seven spots to finish sixth, and Zane Smith of Bonne Terre, Mo., climbed nine positions to finish seventh.

The biggest mover of the night was Lane Seratt of Finley, Tenn., who stormed from 19th to eighth, gaining 11 positions. Willow Coleman of Farmington, Mo., also came from deep in the field, improving nine spots to finish 15th.

Hard-luck stories included Lydia May of Terre Haute, Ind., who started fourth but was sidelined early, finishing 20th after dropping 16 positions. Landon Miner of House Springs, Mo., also saw his night end abruptly, falling 17 spots from sixth to 23rd.
