Pro-Mods Steal the Show as Drew Schwartz Claims Victory; Fans Get a Taste of Road to the Dome at Coles County

MATTOON, IL --It was a packed night of action across multiple divisions, but all eyes were on the debut of the Pro-Mods, and they didn’t disappoint. The night also served as a preview of bigger things to come, as fans got a taste of what you can expect for the Road to the Dome at Coles County coming up on September 28th.


Pro-Mods Shine in Debut


The addition of the Pro-Mods stole the show as the newest class on the card, and the action lived up to the hype. In the end, it was Ashmore, IL’s Drew Schwartz who came out on top, grabbing the 20-lap A Feature victory over his brother Deece Schwartz in a family battle that had fans on their feet.


The brothers started side by side on the front row and never let up, trading lines and battling through lapped traffic before Drew nosed ahead to secure the win. JD Evans of Mattoon, IL, charged forward five spots to round out the podium in third.

After a strong night in the heats, Hammond, IL’s Nolan Bartley powered his way to the front and claimed the Non-Wing Micro A Feature victory.
